At the Salisbury Wine Festival I tried a twist on the beloved oyster shooter. A decscrition and review follows!
Friday's Creek "Trimiette", D.L Jardines "Texas Champagne" hot sauce, and a raw oyster were the ingredients that made up, this twist on the oyster shooter
(The oyster shooter ingredients)
The white wine gave the oyster shooter a nice grassy taste, and the hot sauce gave the drink a spicy kick! The combination of the grassy, earthy wine and the oceany tasting oyster was great. Eastern shore surf and turf cocktail is my best short description for this drink
(Me about to try the oyster shooter.)
Photo credits go to my Mom :-)
This oyster shooter would be a great addition for a fall party, or just something fun and new to try!
